Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) is going to be organized in West Bengal next week. Amid this there are uncertainties surrounding the participation of Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani in the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS). Adani has played a big role in the development of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's ambitious deep sea port in Haldia, Bengal. Doubts have emerged due to recent criticisms from Trinamool Congress leaders and questions raised in Parliament by Mahua Moitra.
While doubts persist over Gautam Adani's attendance, other prominent industrialists, including Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries, are expected to participate in the two-day summit.
Key figures from companies like ITC, Ambuja Neotia, Hiranandani Group, and industrialists such as Sanjiv Goenka, Sanjiv Puri, Purnendu Chatterjee, Harshvardhan Neotia, and Sajjan Jindal are likely to be present at BGBS.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who actively sought investments during her visits to Spain and Dubai in September, aims to showcase the state's investment potential during the summit scheduled for November 21-22.
